Partha Mukhopadhyay, who was seen performing in legendary classic movies like Baghbandir Khela, Atithi, Balika Badhu, Amar Prithibi and many more expired today morning due to cardiac arrest. He was just 70 years old when he took his last breathe. It was said that he was suffering from kidney problems since long and his wife used to take care of him.
Chief Minister of West Bengal, Smt. Mamata Banerjee expressed her deepest grief for Mukhopadhyay and condolences for his family. He will be remembered for his immense contribution to the Bengali film industry.
His body was carried to Technician’s studio from his own house after releasing him from the reputed south Kolkata hospital.
