Manish Narwal won silver in the Men's 10-meter air pistol event, is the champion in the mixed 50-meter pistol event, and set a world record at the 2021 Para World Championships.
Manish Narwal scored 234.9 points in the Paris event. Jon Daniel Joo of South Korea won the gold medal in this event, scoring 237.4 points. Bronze medalist Yang Chao scored 214.3 points.
India continues to win medals at this year's Paris Paralympics. Initially, Manish Narwal was in the lead position in this event until the middle of the final. But he finished in second place because of a few consecutive poor shots. He had previously won gold in an individual event at the Tokyo Paralympics. Manish also won the Arjuna Award in 2020 and the Khel Ratna Award in 2021.
