West Bengal government has finally decided to dispense the paddy sowing machines that are known to all as paddy transplanting machines. This will inevitably make the job of the farmers easier and the short of daily workers will not affect the yield. A pilot project was initiated in the districts of Malda, Murshidabad, Cooch Behar and it was noted that a bigha of land was sown in just 15 minutes.
To recognize the welfare of the farmers, State government is introducing a number of schemes that are beneficial from every possible angle. However, the Central government has recognized West Bengal as the best in countless aspects of agriculture and farming.
