Bookworms gear up for the best event of the year, the literary festival is back and we can’t be more excited. The 10th Apeejay Kolkata Literary Festival will be held from January 18-20.
The Pulitzer prize winner for Fiction 2018 Andrew Sean Greer, mythology expert and author Devdutt Pattanik, historian Ramchandra Guha and actor Naseeruddin Shah will be addressing the literary festival. Apart from these personalities, 16 other speakers including historian and biographer Rajmohan Gandhi, writer Shashi Tharoor, journalist Seema Goswami, novelist Sobhaa De will be present at the event to make it more interesting.
2019 Literary Festival will focus on health, current affair, woman issues, and children literature among other themes. Apart from these events, street walk, theatre performance, and musical performance will be conducted. Film screening and the literary session will be one of the main events.
