According to Director Umashankar, love is blind as you don’t judge the person you love. On 3rd July the director interacted with the media at Press Club and announced the release date of his next venture.
The title of his next film ‘Ronghin Ramdhonu’ (Colourless Rainbow) deals with college romance and discrimination. The movie was shot mostly in North-East India. Actors Biswajit Chakraborty, Bharat Kaul, Nil Bhowmick, Sagnika Chatterjee, Sangeeta Banerjee, Surojit Mandol will be in this film. We asked the director why did he go for such title, He smiled and said, “The movie is based on caste and religion difference. A Muslim girl falls in love with a Hindu boy. Will the society accept their love and marriage? The truth is nowadays, a funky title don’t attract the audience anymore. Hence the whole team came up with a new title.” He even stated, “Audiences are more attracted towards quirky title. The plan is simple, not to fall under the trap of censor board. It’s better to keep it plain and simple.”
On 7th July, the team of ‘Ronghin Ramdhonu’ will launch their logo, the release date of the movie is the 19th of this month.
