North Bengal is in fact subjected to tourism and people over there mostly earn their livelihood on the basis of the holidays. But somehow, the government felt the need for some additional requirements and business policies. To outgrow the business aspects in North Bengal, a new information technology firm will be coming up soon. The new IT park will be located on the Mirik Road. It is good to know that out of the 32 modalities, 25 have been already booked.
By now, Bengal government is getting a huge response from the IT companies and this has actually instigated the plan of setting up more IT firms in West Bengal. Setting up of these IT companies will create huge employment opportunities for all.
According to the minister in charge of industries, Dr. Amit Mitra, TCS will be hiring 20,000 more people for their new campus and 35,000 people are already employed for this particular project.
