Anjan Dutt, whose “Aami Asbo Firey’ has recently hit the screens is now repenting for making Byomkesh. He personally feels that two directors in the same industry making the same type of movie is not good for both the box office and franchise as well.
Moreover, Dutt feels that ‘Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana’, ‘Byomkesh Phire Elo’ and ‘Byomkesh O Agnibaan’ cannot be pigeon-holed as his best creations because these films will inevitably not make it to the history books. He repents that it is not possible for him to experiment with this kind of films as the directors are expected to stick to the original stories. Therefore, he is frankly not interested in making Byomkesh films anymore.
Anjan Dutt is now with Arindam Sil, as he is making a series on Byomkesh. Presently he is working on “Rakter Daag” while Dutt has presented the story of “Durga Rahoshya” to Sil.
