Hoichoi is set to release a new web series, ‘Bhog,’ based on a story by Avik Sarkar. Parambrata Chatterjee will direct this mythological thriller.
Recently, Parambrata directed the supernatural-themed web series ‘Nikosh chhaya’, which captivated viewers with its eerie atmosphere. The story of ‘Nikosh chhaya’ centered on the character Niren Bhaduari, adding a touch of suspense and mystery. In ‘Bhog,’ the cast actors are Anirban Bhattacharya and Rajatava Dutta. Shantanu Mitra Niyogi and Parambrata Chatterjee crafted the screenplay and dialogues.
The series official announcement was accompanied by a photo of Parambrata and Anirban dressed in black suits, with a book titled ‘Bhog’ in Parambrata’s hand. The image has sparked interest among audiences for this upcoming drama.
The series revolves around a solitary bachelor obsessed with a mysterious brass idol, which exerts an unusual influence on his life. This marks the first time Avik Sarkar's popular story and audiobook, Bhog, is being adapted for the screen, raising anticipation to see how well it resonates with viewers as a web series.
