Do you know? The young stylist Neha Panda, who is redefining the looks of Tollywood on screen with her latest ideas, has ultimately decided to convey her style to the city's youth.
Neha, in collaboration with interior designer Usha Goswami have launched a fashion retail store that at present specializes in women's outfits-both Western and Indian.
Neha revealed that it was always a dream for her to launch a store. So the moment Usha called her up and requested her to be the brand ambassador of her store, she agreed at once without a moment's faltering. Then she thought what if she starts designing for the store herself? Particularly, Usha was more than glad to allow her and that is how the store OnlyyU emerged.
The brand inaugurated its first outlet at New Alipore which was graced by Neha's friends from the Bengali film industry like Anindita Roy, Parno Mittra as well as Mainak Bhaumik. Moreover, Mainak was spotted scouting for outfits for his subsequent film.
Regarding the collection, Neha clarified that right now they only have women's outfits. But they are planning to launch the men's line too shortly.
Specifically, the Indian attires consist of anarkalis, suits and sarees while the Western apparels include club wear, resort wear and a pret line. However, the pret line comes at an affordable price range starting from Rs 1000 and above. On the other side, the bridal collection can cost anywhere between Rs 20,000 and 35,000. Neha disclosed that all the needle work, thread work as well as intricate detailing on the bridal dressmaking is done by the workers in their workshop itself.
Very few people know that the stylist, besides attending her store, is busy styling for Mainak Bhaumik's Family Album too and a handful of other current projects.
