Arjun Chakraborty, the younger one of Sabyasachi Chakraborty, has by now established a separate identity for himself in Bengali film industry. He did a commendable job in ‘Guptodhoner Sondhane’ and Arindam Sil is also quite happy to work with him in ‘Byomkesh Gotro’.
Arjun will be playing the role of Satyakam in ‘Byomkesh Gotro’. It is his murder case that Byomkesh will be solving. It is quite challenging to play such a shady character but Arjun is very fond of taking challenges.
In the movie, ‘Byomkesh Gotro’ Sohini Sarkar is playing Satyabati’s character and Rahul is replacing Ritwick Chakraborty in the depiction of Ajit. Anjan Dutt, Indrashish Roy, Priyanka Sarkar, Harsh Chaya, and Anindita Bose are also among the lead cast.
Arjun believes in doing offbeat roles that will eventually give him a new identity altogether.
