All the paintings are Indrajit’s creation and they were composed of Tagore’s poems. He described the paintings as ‘drawing painting’, ‘shorthand artwork’. The paintings are mainly Rabindranath’s portrait done in the style of writing and each one of them is one of his poems or drama. He was inspired when his mother recited Tagore's poems and dramas.

The paintings at the exhibition will be auctioned and the profit will go to The Tagore Foundation school. Specially-abled students from this school performed this evening on Tagore’s songs. Bikram Ghosh performed the national anthem by tapping his cheeks which was as unique as the art exhibition.
