Monali Thakur – now a National Award as well as a Filmfare Award winner, rose to fame by participating in Indian Idol and she has never had to look back since. She also included among the panel of judges for Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (Bengali).
The singer rose to fame after singing ‘Zara zara touch me’ for Race 2. Recently, she won the National Award for ‘Mohmohke Dhaage’, from Dum Lagake Haisha. She has sung for several movies in various languages.
The Kolkata based singer is all set to launch her first single video. ‘Tamanna’ is composed by Monali herself, written by Amitabh Bhattacharya and produced by Bert Elliot, who is an international music producer.
The song passionately represents how the singer sees her life. Apart from being a singer, Monali is a fashion enthusiast as well. She has shown her own fashion statement in the video, experimenting with blue lipstick, pink outfit and golden boots.
