Minister Gautam Dev visits tourism centers

Chandannagar is gearing up for the most awaited festival of the year that is Jagadhatri Puja. Every year many people from different states and abroad come to witness this puja. Not only during the pujas people come here quite often but there is no resting place for them in Chandannagar. The tourism department has decided to build a three-star residence at KMDA Park at a cost of 11 crore for this reason. Tourism Minister Gautam Dev stated this after visiting the park on Wednesday. He said a five-story building covering 22 'kathas'(measurement of land) will be built. Gautam Dev stated that modern facilities including kitchen, banquet, community hall, service room, restaurant, two elevators, and other facilities will be available for all kinds of visitors including the foreigners.
