Mahesh Bhatt Praising Srijit for ‘Uma’

Do you remember Srijit’s Bollywood directorial debut ‘Begum Jaan’? Yes, it was under the banner of Mahesh Bhatt. The Bengali version of the movie enjoyed huge success whereas the Hindi version was unfortunately not very popular.

This time Bhatt is impressed with the concept of Srijit making ‘Uma’. Srijit’s Bengali directorial ‘Uma’ is all set to release on 1^st June 2018."Srijit Mukherjee’s ‘UMA’ passionately echoes this ‘truth’," tweeted Bhatt. We all know that this movie is based on a real story and about a struggling father who can go to any extent to fulfill his daughter’s dreams. The film will also feature Srabanti Chatterjee, Anirban Bhattacharya, Anjan Dutt, Sayantika, Rudranil Ghosh and many others.
