Kolkata Knight Riders came with a bang and the auction ceremony probably found its grace. The key buy of Kolkata Knight Riders was Mitchell Starc worth Rs 9.4 crore. KXIP tried their level best to grab Starc but alas, it was KKR who took him away.
Kolkata Knight Riders retained their very own favourite cards like Sunil Narine and Andre Russell. The auction took place in Bangalore this year 2018 and it took a perfect shape at the end of the day. All the teams got their favourites but a few owners looked pretty disgruntled with some buys. All the franchises targeted the best combinations for their team but the truth turned out a bit different. Few got their choices but others were just trying to manage the team with all they have.
