Kolkata Metro Service to be affected

The lifeline of Kolkata that is Kolkata Metro Service will be affected from Monday onwards. 300 trains run on weekdays and there has been a reduction in the number. From now on there will be a total of 284 trains.
According to Metro Railway Authorities, a total of 284 will run till December 21. The number of trains has been reduced because of yard remodeling at Mahanayak Uttam Kumar Station which will take place in the month of November. The last trains from Kavi Subhas and Dum Dum will start at 9.48pm instead of 9.49pm. There will be no change in weekend services. The travelers will be having a tough time and it will be interesting to see how they manage.
