West Bengal residents can expect thunderstorms with heavy rainfall until Monday, offering respite from the scorching heat. According to the weather office, various districts in South Bengal are likely to experience Kalbaishakhi (pre-monsoon thunderstorms) and intense rainfall in the next 48 hours.
However, the intensity of rainfall will be lower in North Bengal for the next few days. As a result, there is no possibility of any significant fluctuations in temperature for the next week, and temperatures will remain normal or slightly below normal in the coming days.
