It has come to light that after the box-office dhamaka of Boss, the trio Jeet, Subhashree and Baba Yadav are planning to congregate again in a sequel.
JK Ray from the production house revealed that the audience is truly waiting for a Part II of Boss. However, currently it is on the drawing board. Actually, Part II will begin from where Boss ended and certainly the sequel will not be a remake of any south movie. No doubt, it will be an original story, which will be its USP. In addition, they are planning to make another film with Jeet, which is supposed to be directed by Raja Chanda.
Anyway, he is not at all concerned about the fact that Tollywood's romance with sequels has been a let-down till date.
Ray admitted that Paglu did better business compared to Paglu 2 and Challenge was a super hit than Challenge 2. But in these two sequels, the story was entirely different from the original one. In case of Boss, it will be a true sequel and the second part will continue from where the first part concluded.
Jeet expressed that he is very happy with the reception of Boss. They are even planning to make Part II. Apart from that, they are planning to release the film too.
Above all, director Baba Yadav is equally excited. He commented with a smile that as a debut director, it was a huge honor to see his film doing excellently. He is in all nerves about directing Boss 2 as the viewer's expectation would be sky high. He hopes to live up to it.
It is heard that the Awara team of Jeet-Sayantika will return in Raja Chanda's film but the director is silent. Raja remarked that Sayantika and Jeet had a great pairing in Awara but they are yet to rope her in for this film. He added that this movie will be a romantic comedy.
