Chandrayaan 4 will be made with the purpose of searching for water on the moon's soil. ISRO is joining hands with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) for the Chandrayaan 4 mission. The joint venture Lunar Polar Exploration Mission (Lupex) will send the spacecraft to the moon. Another name for Lupex is Chandrayaan 4.
In the past few years, during space surveillance, there have been several indications of the existence of water on the moon's soil. It is important to keep this in mind for future space missions. The discovery of water means that it is possible to use it to build settlements on the moon. Chandrayaan-4 will take that responsibility on its shoulders.
