Final touches at the world headquarters of ISKCON in Mayapur for Rathyatra this year has given the entire event a new dimension altogether. The devotees are already found toiling in the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) premises, getting the chariots of deities of Jagannath, Balaram and Subhadra ready for the D-Day.
On that day the chariot moves to Gundicha Temple and a huge crowd visit the destination for the occasion from every nook and corner of the world. Security measures are taken according to the settled norms and the arrangements are tightened at ISKCON headquarters in Nadia district of West Bengal.
