Kharaj Mukherjee is one of the most brilliant performers in the Bengali film industry now but perhaps he is not accurately exploited by many directors. He principally plays the comic role but in a few movies he played a much different character and that was undeniably commendable enough.
How many of us are aware of Hiralal Sen? Quite a few, I am sure. Hiralal Sen was the first person to make a full length feature film namely “Alibaba O Challis Chor” in the year 1904 when most of us were not even born. This person had immense contribution in the history of film and television.
In order to pay a tribute to Hiralal Sen, director Arun Roy is coming up with his new biopic where Kharaj Mukherjee will be playing the role of Girish Chandra. Moreover Shankar Chakraborty and Saswata Chatterjee will also be a part of this new biopic.
