However, Kiriti is bit different from the stereotype detective. This character is six and a half feet tall, fair and stout. Curly hair which is mostly combed back. Clean shaved face with his black celluloid spectacles makes him highly attractive. Kiriti is one of the most popular of yesteryears detective characters. In this instance, Indraneil Sengupta gets to portray the character for the second time. He is delighted to be back into the role of Detective Kiriti Roy. Each of his roles promise to push his acting capabilities and the audience's expectations from him several notches higher.
Indraneil Sengupta is delighted to portray the famous detective- Kriti Roy by dermatologist and novelist Nihar Ranjan Gupta. “Nilachaley Kiriti” has been directed by Anindya Bikas Datta, his second film from the Kiriti Roy franchise. The first movie titled as “Kiriti O kala Bhromor” was released in 2016. Indraneil Sengupta has done a lot of action sequences than in his first venture, which released earlier this Friday (9th February) along with movie “Micheal”. The movie has a simple concept, but suspects and characters avoid eye contact and bite their nails off as the sleuth goes over each piece of the puzzle, and ties up loose ends, cracks the case while finally exposes the killer is the main concept for this movie. According to Anindya Bikas Datta, Indraneil is the apt person who can depict the role without any bottleneck.
A tense Indraneil stated, “For me, it is like being in a whole new circumstance with the same actors.” The first movie of Kiriti Roy was released in 2016, was a major hit. When asked, what it was like performing the fighting and running sequences, he stated, “I am a Fitness freak. I am okay with all the running and fighting scenes.”
