Ethun Babu, a Bangladeshi composer who’s YouTube Channel is named EB Music, has been composing since 1990 has 7 albums of his own and is a singer himself. His first massive hit was in the year 2000, ‘O priya tumi kothaye’ which was sung by Asif. The next mega hit by Ethun Babu was ‘Madhobi ki chhilo bhul’ sung by Atif Hassan who has even recorded songs in Om Studio, Kolkata. His success was followed by various back to back hits namely, ‘Sumon er ar ekta chador hobe ’,‘ Mamata di’r return ticket’ and ‘Bhalobaste mon laage re.’
Recently, this famous Bangladeshi composer recorded a folk based song “Khuda jaane” with Anwesha, who is a renowned singer of Kolkata. This recording was not only performed by a Kolkata based singer but, rather this is Ethun Babu's first ever collaboration with Om Studio of Kolkata. Ethun Babu has even worked in Mumbai with well-known singers like Sonu Nigam and Kumar Sanu.
Jitendra Kumar Prasad, a.k.a Bobbie, who owns Om studio, is the person who creates the comfort zone for Ethun Babu. The acoustic instruments and the arrangements which Mr. Prasad provides fit perfectly to the known Bangladeshi composers requirements. Om Studio is the sole place in Kolkata where Ethun Babu feels at home while recording his future hits.
Ethun Babu and Mr. Prasad is the perfect combination for Indo-Bangladesh projects which they expect to be smashing hits in the near future. Here we are looking forward to many more such collaborations.
