Improvised schedule and dedicated bus lane

On Monday 27^th August the Kolkata Traffic police ran a bus transit system in Ultadanga, which proved successful. Impressed by that, Kolkata Traffic Police decided to make a separate lane only for buses in that area. West Bengal Transport Corporation reduced the time gap between buses to less than five minutes. This measure has been greatly appreciated by the office goers. This may also cause a decline in demand for autos in Ultadanga. The IT-special bus fleet has started full-fledged service. Non ac buses will be available at a gap of ten-minute interval while the ac buses will leave at a gap of twenty-minutes at Ultadanga.
