The struggle is probably still on. The controversy regarding the release of the movie “Padmavat” started long back. Even the shoot of the movie, when the name was “Padmavati” faced a lot of delinquency. The actors of the film were bound to face innumerable issues regarding the making of the film. Debasish Sen Sharma, the famous director of Tollywood, whose “Aranyadeb” is arriving soon strongly condemns the change in name of the movie “Padmavati” to Padmavat” but he will definitely watch the movie for it is Bhansali’s.
Now to duck the controversy, Bhansali changed the name of the movie to “Padmavat” and thought of minimizing the legal controversies. Unfortunately, the concept did not pay him much. Anyways its negative publicity also took it a long way and finally “Padmavat” is hitting the screens on 25th January 2018.
It is actually clashing the release date of the much awaited movie starring Akshay Kumar’s “Padman” but there is hardly any professional controversy in this case because R. Balki feels that it is actually a weekend and there are many holidays at the end of the month. So both the films will be equally accepted to the movie buffs. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming “Aiyaan” pushed back their release’s date to 9th February 2018 so that further clanks can be avoided.
