Bengali New Year is one of the most propitious celebrations of Bengalis which is celebrated with different cultural activities all over Bengal. Correspondingly people in the outskirts of Kolkata push the boat out in this affair in their own ways.
Halishahor cultural group will be celebrating their yearly “Baithaki Adda” this time just like the last 15 years. Completing 16 years with artistes all over West Bengal is not a matter of joke. They have arranged the event rejoicing the dawn of “Nabobarsho”. Sandip Lahiri, the man behind the show stated that he has invited the cultural enthusiasts from Bijpur and nearby areas.
“BaithakiAdda” will take place in a garden near Baldeghata Siddeshwari Temple. The arty gathering will showcase the perfect conglomeration of dance, music, elocution, storytelling and unadulterated chinwag.
