Guess which Hindu mythological character made it into a Marvel movie!

Everyone around the world are going bonkers about Marvel’s latest movie Black Panther, the Chadwick Boseman starrer film had received a lot of critical acclaim because of its strong social messages and tones racial equality. The movie tells the story of marvel’s famous character Black Panther and his rise, as a king and a superhero.

But amidst all that extravaganza, there was a treat hidden for the Indian audiences of the world. During a certain scene in Black Panther there was a reference of a Hindu God!

And that God is none other than…. Lord Hanuman!

If you have watched the film on the big screen then you have probably noticed ,when M’Baku, challenges King T’Challa (Boseman) to a combat to win the throne of Wakanda, he says something which is apparently inaudible. The word inaudible is “Glory to Hanuman”. But the censor board of India has censored it due to some unkown reason.

The Character M’Baku  in the comics is a man- ape and the line intended was for the Jabari Clan God.

This created a lot of buzz in the twitter world, it was a proud moment for some Indians, but some were deeply disheartened as they missed the opportunity see the scene unhindered.

So next time you see the movie( torrents….maybe ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)) you better not miss it!
