To boost up the employment structure of West Bengal, the state government has come up with a great initiative for unemployed youths. The governmenthas set a target of providing employment or any start-up business to 6 lakh youth within the current financial year. Minister of Technical Education, Purnendu Bose stated that around 6 lakh students would be undertaking skill development training just before they secure employment.The Utkarsh Bangla scheme aims to uplift the employment structure in West Bengal.
State Government ensures that unemployed youths become economically stable throughout this training programme. These following training has already secured 2.5 lakh unemployed youth’s future while the other half will complete the courses within the fiscal year (March 31). Right after the instruction of West Bengal’s Chief Minister Hon’ble Mamata Banerjee, the Technical Education Department came up with various such vocational training programme, that too free of cost.
