The state government employees can rejoice because the Sixth Pay Commission will be implemented soon. According to reports, the recommendation of the Sixth Pay Commission may be implemented in the state in the year 2019. The recommendations will be submitted in the month of November.
The 15th Finance Commission visited the state last year in the month of July. The state government submitted a statement where there was a hint of salary hike.
The statement submitted to the State Finance Commission has been presented to the government employees regarding the incremental pay from the financial year 2019-20 and according to the report submitted, in the first year, the salary of government employees in the state could increase to 22 percent.
