On 30th March 2018, ‘Gobhir Gopon Brishti’ by director Narottam Prasad Sil released at Priya Entertainments Pvt Ltd. The romantic drama featured Samdarshi Dutta, Sudipta Banerjee, Kaushik Sen, Supriyo Dutta and many others. “The movie has come with a new thought and it is a love story. People will be able to relate themselves to the story and that is the USP of the film ‘Gobhir Gopon Brishti’. I would like to tell the audience to go to the theatre and watch the film,” says the director.
“There are a number of Tagore songs in the movie and I was asked to make it different. So I tried hard and now it is up to the audience how they would take it” says Anindya from Bengali band ‘Shahor’.
The story is about a girl named Brishti and a guy called Akash where both of them would fall in love and the twists and turns they face along the way. The dramatic sequences are well portrayed. Sudipta did a good job in representing a girl with lots of desires and hopes. She turned out as hopelessly romantic and it was carried out quite well.
Rupankar, Anwesha, Surojit and Jayati were part of the musical segment of ‘Gobhir Gopon Brishti’ and they gave life to the entire film. We hope, with time the director will gift us such good films.
