The city is gearing up to celebrate the most exciting time of the year. Keeping this fact in mind, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) will increase the flow of food drive in the city.
On 11th November, Deputy Mayor Atin Ghosh, who is also a member of Mayor-in-Council (Health Department) of KMC held a meeting with officials under food safety to stock up food drives- a test run on street foods and foods on the wheel. To meet the standards of Food safety and standard Authority of India (FSSAI) such initiative will be taken during Christmas time. The food safety officers have already started to examine the food quality of ‘Food Safety on Wheel’ twice a week in the city with Mobile food laboratory.
