Seven-Month-Old Baby Found with Fetus in Abdomen in Dehradun. A human fetus was found growing inside the abdomen of a seven-month-old baby.
After the baby's birth, the parents noticed that the child's abdomen was growing abnormally. They took the baby to a doctor and after an X-ray, a fetus was found in the baby's abdomen.
The doctors explained that this condition is known as "Foetus in Fetu." This means the development of one fetus inside another. Such cases occur in about one in several hundred thousand births. Usually, this condition can be detected earlier in the baby's birth, but in most cases, it is discovered only after birth.
Currently, after surgery, the fetus has been successfully removed from the baby's abdomen. The baby is now completely healthy.
