Smar Fish which is the name of the app, had been officially inaugurated in the ‘Fish Fest’ which was held from the 5th – 7th January 2018.
All kinds of fishes are available on the app. You will get Rohu, Katla, Nilontica, Bata, and various kinds of prawns, Pabda, Bhetki, Hilsa, Chapila, Koi, Magoor, Shuntki, Googly and many more. Customers can simply place their orders by using the app. West Bengal State Fisheries Development Corporation has outlets even in places like Salt Lake and Newtown.
The fishes available online comes with nutritional facts and dates of manufacturing. Around 40 delivery personnel go all around the city to deliver the ordered fish.
The launch of the fish app is definitely the best thing that has happened to the Bengalis this year.
