First executive lounge in Bengal

The railway officials are always looking for new ways to improve the infrastructure for the betterment of the passengers. Apart from this they are also focusing on the beautification work. The officials have decided to built modern Executive Lounges for the sake of passengers at Sealdah, Howrah and New Jalpaiguri stations. Thousands of passengers go to stations on a regular basis. The railway officials think that many people will be benefitted when the lounges will be made. According to Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC), the work of constructing executive lounge in Sealdah is almost complete. This station is presently leading among the three stations.
This will be the first Executive Lounge in this state. The officials are looking for other places where the remaininglounges will be built. For the convenience of the passengers, this lounge will be built at the station premises. The officials are excited about the new initiative and it will be interesting to see how it greets passengers.
