What exactly happened with the entire cast and crew of ‘Rhododendron’ in Kalimpong? They went for the shoot in Kalimpong and they were all set to check out on 29th May but had to wait for a longer stretch of time just to get their bills cleared.
The shooting started from 24th May and was completed on 28th. Argha Deep Chatterjee, the director, said, “We completed the shoot without any hurdle. But the producer didn’t clear the hotel bills on time. The actors, as well as the technicians, were stuck for about six hours. We had to wait on the road for the production team to clear the bills.”
The actors left as soon as the issue got resolved but Payel Sarkar is not ready to confide on whatsoever happened over there.
Producer Harit Ratna had a different story altogether. He blamed the local production coordinator for messing up the entire situation. He believes that the director planned a small trip after the shoot with his wife, so they stayed back purposefully.
