OHIO HOSPITAL, NEWTOWN, Kolkata had arranged a free health check-up camp for men on the occasion of International Father’s Day. Along with normal check-up (height, weight, pulse, BP, blood sugar), special prominence was given to the elderly who are above 50 years of age as 50% male experience an enlargement of the prostate and run a high risk of prostate cancer. The main objective of the camp was to make people aware about problems related to prostate and how to rule out it with the help of a skilful consultant and a good health care unit.
A number of dignitaries were also present at this programme which included Mr Sovan Deb Chatterjee, Minister, Govt.of West Bengal and Mr.Debasis Sen, Chairman, New Town Development Authority.
