In an innovative attempt, the West Bengal Government has decided to bring in exclusive textbooks for school dropouts, to implement them to get back into the academic year without much problem. The Education Department of Bengal is fearless of the fact that through this action the dropout rate in the State would be ultimately brought down to zero. According to a senior official of the State Education Department, these books have already been processed and would be brought in from the next academic year.
The books for each subject for each class would include the main section of that subject so that a student studying that textbook would acquire information of the important aspects of that subject, and face much less problem in understanding the topics during regular class. Along with the books included, special classes would be held outside school hours and would be conducted by the teachers of the same school.
