Ronti Saddle is a mountain pass which lies between the great and glorious Himalayan peaks of Nanda Ghungti and Trishul which is close to the Nanda Devi inner Sanctuary.
The trek to Ronti Saddle is easily approached from a more popular place called the Roopkund. Through Roopkund the trekkers enter Sheela Samudra. After Sheela Samudra the trekkers trek up to Do Dang following the Nandakini River. Then there is a small bridge which is mostly snow covered and leads to Homkund. From Homkund starts the actual trek to Ronti Saddle. Trek to Ronti Saddle is one of the most peaceful yet exciting treks for people who are in love with the mountains.
How to reach: A typical trek to Ronti Saddle usually takes ten days. Ronti Saddle is located 17388ft above sea level. The trek is of 80kms with steep paths, hardened snowflakes and a lot of twists. But a real traveler will definitely enjoy the trek.
Where to stay: Accommodations for the trekkers are available either in tents or tourist lodges.
