Eastern Railway marked occasion on completing 60 years of local train

On 12^th December, in excess of 300 passengers travelled on a special Howrah-Sheoraphuli local train to mark 60 years of Eastern Railways local train service.

The train was decorated with flowers, while the railway officers presented the passengers with chocolates while many were busy clicking selfies with the special train marked for the occasion.

Today, Eastern Railway runs 1,393 EMU trains - 476 in Howrah division and 917 in Sealdah division - every day.
