Trailer And Music Album Of Upcoming Movie 'Doaansh' Launched, When Will This Film Release?

Recently, the trailer and music launch event of the upcoming Bengali movie 'Doaansh' took place, unveiling a mesmerising tale set in the Sundarbans, directed by Sayan Banerjee. Produced under the banner of 'Mojotale Entertainment and Distribution' by Sumona Kanjilal.

At the event, the two main characters of the movie, actress Sritama Dey and actor Anubhav Kanjilal, were present.

The trailer reveals the unseen beauty of the Sundarbans, catering to those who believe in the forest goddess 'Bonobibi' and live accordingly. The film's music album, which was released on the same day, includes Parijat Pradhan's touching rendition of the song "Pirit Bhora Kala Chokhe."

Director Sayan Banerjee expressed his joy while bringing out the many years of work that went into making the movie, bringing the essence of the Sundarbans and its people to life.

Producer Sumona Kanjilal talked about the difficulties faced in creating the movie but emphasised its point of view, encouraging viewers to keep going no matter how difficult the road may seem. "Doaansh" requests viewers to watch it to connect with their emotions as it tells a story of inner strength.

However, Anubhav Kanjilal, an actor well-known for his roles in television series, thanked everyone for the tremendous support he has received, particularly from rural Bengal, where he is still relatively unknown. Through this film, he emphasised his deep connection to the land and its people, hoping that his performance would strike an emotional chord with viewers.

Actress Sritama Dey revealed the name Jhumri, describing how the character has shaped who she is. Time has passed, but the character remains in her heart—a witness to how deeply involved she was in the movie.

"Doaansh," which is slated for a July 5th theatrical release, looks to be a moving and authentic story that takes viewers on a cinematic journey through the heart of the Sundarbans.
