Finally, after every dissatisfaction, the actor-director pair Dev and Srijit will work together again in 2024. After ‘Zulfiqar,’ Dev and Srijit will be collaborating once again. Dev personally pleased his followers and fans by revealing that Rukmini Maitra will play the major role in his upcoming film with Srijit Mukherji.
Dev posted this news with few images with Srijit Mukherji and Rukmini Maitra on social media. He shared the picture with the comment, "Finally, it's official. We are coming in 2024.”
However, the trio made no reference to the movie's content. Fans gathered in the comment section with lovely remarks as soon as the picture was uploaded, expressing their enthusiasm for the actor-director duo.
Dev is now busy on 'Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya' and finishing off the final schedule of shooting for his eagerly awaited movie 'Bagha Jatin'. On August 11, Birsa Dasgupta's 'Byomkesh O Durgo Rahashya' and, accordingly, Bagha Jatin on October 20, are scheduled to be released in theatres.
On the other side, Srijit Mukherji is working tirelessly on his upcoming web series, which is based on ‘Dugo Rahasya’ by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. Anirban Bhattacharya plays the title role in Srijit Mukherji's Byomkesh series, alongside Rahul Banerjee as Ajit and Sohini Sarkar as Satyabati. Srijit will get to work on ‘Dasham Avatar,’ a dual prequel of ‘Baise Srabon’ and ‘Vinci Da,’ after finishing that detective series.
Furthermore, it is known that Srijit Mukherji and Ditipriya Roy were going to collaborate again on the biography of West Bengal-born Indian nationalist and rebel Bina Das.
