Alipore Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rainfall in several districts of West Bengal. Some parts of West Bengal will be affected on Monday and Tuesday, due to the depression in the Bay of Bengal. Some areas may receive heavy rainfall, as stated by the weather officials.
However, there was a forecast for heavy rains on Sunday. North and South 24 Parganas, East and West Midnapore will also be affected because of this cyclonic circulation. There is a possibility of rain in Jhargram, Bankura, Purulia, East,and West Burdwan, Birbhum, Murshidabad and Nadia districts for the next two days.
