Tathagata Mukherjee, the well-known Tollywood Mega Serial face is now coming up with his new short film where his wife Debleena will be doing the lead cast. The story is based on the thoughts of teleportation and what it actually holds for the women today. Chiranjeet Chakraborty will be doing the lead role along with her in this film.
“The short film starts with a conversation between the woman, Apala and a psychiatrist. The woman often finds herself in some other space. Like while making tea she is finding herself near a sea-side in a faraway country. This is a unique concept I feel and Debleena was very excited to work on this. The family holds a ‘nakshi kantha’ and this makes the woman to have the urge of finding her connection with the prized possession” said Tathagata.
Debaleena reveals, “The girl here looks for a freedom in spite of being married and mother of a child. There are many psychological aspects in this movie. We shot the film in Malaysia, Singapore, Andaman and a part of it in Kolkata. I am quite hopeful as this will keep a lasting impression in audience’s mind.”
