Crisscross revolves around five women from different backgrounds crossing each other’s path unknowingly. Based on the novel by Smaranjit Chakraborty, the audience will witness that these five women have contrasting behaviors that lead to a catastrophic life event. The five stories run parallel to each other crossing the path of each character in this urban slice-of-life drama. These five women play the protagonist of the film and the men in their lives play the backbone of the content. Speaking about the director’s strategy, Birsa and the whole team have left no stone unturned to create the story a successful one. Watching the film, the audience will find out that each of the characters lacks what othershave and that’s what makes the storyline more interesting.

A female-centric film is not new in Bengali cinema but playing with characters and presenting them in front of the audience, Birsa has done a good job. Weaving their stories in one plot is definitely an innovative idea. Not just the movie trailer, the promotional video of the film has promised lots of freshness and they have delivered it.
Apart from the character, Arjun Chakraborty, Gaurav Chakraborty, and Riddhima Ghosh played their part quite well.
