Christopher Nolan, the ace filmmaker has turned into a Satyajit Ray fan after watching Pather Panchali during his trip to India. Nolan is famed for The Dark Knight trilogy, Dunkirk, Inception along with a few other stellar movies while this time Kamal Haasan expressed his regrets for not watching ‘Dunkirk’ in the theatres.

He feels that the film fraternity is struggling to protect the films on celluloid and pleading not to be tempted by the digital platform. Most of them are not understanding the real importance of celluloid.
Moreover, he talked about the outlook and mindset of the critics. Most of them believe that filmmaking is the most illogical thing to do but it is, in fact, the dreams, escapism, magic and the experience of the maker. His preferred way of shooting films is difficult on a digital platform.
