The forefather of Park Street regarding Christmas celebrations “Bow Fest” in Bow Barrack is all set to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and welcome the New Year 2019.
The striking red buildings with mostly Anglo-Indian population have lived here for generations. These people remain silent the whole year but come to life in this time of the year. The narrow lanes of Bow Barrack host the carnival which starts before Christmas and continues till New Year.
On the Christmas, Eve Santa comes to Barracks with lots of joy. The warmth of the people there makes all the visitors feel like home. From Christmas Ball to soccer tournament to the year-end dance the barrack residents celebrate this occasion with gusto.
