The awards ceremony is set to take place on September 27 in the vibrant city of New Delhi, where the government of India will officially honor Kiriteshwari village for its outstanding contribution to the country's tourism landscape.
In other news, Mamata Banerjee, after a successful tour of Spain, arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday morning. Her itinerary in the UAE includes a series of crucial meetings, most notably a business summit, as reported by the news agency PTI, citing a state government official.
"The chief minister reached the UAE early this morning. She will be staying there for the next two days and will attend a series of meetings, including a business summit. She will also meet a group of NRIs," the official stated.
Mamata Banerjee's stay in Dubai is planned until her scheduled return to Kolkata on September 23, where she will undoubtedly carry with her the pride and recognition of Kiriteshwari village as India's Best Tourism Village, showcasing West Bengal's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty to the world.
