Cakes, the renowned confectionary chain based in Kolkata, has been catering to the food lovers of the city for more than 10 years now. Cakes launched its 12th outlet on the 23rd of July. It was inaugurated by the talented team of the upcoming Bengali thriller/horror film, ‘Kuasha Jokhon’.
Tollywood actors Gargee Roy Chowdhury, Rishav Basu, Anindya Pulak Banerjee, Saon Dey and Chirantan Banerjee were present at the venue. The event was also graced by debutant directors Abhishek and Meenakshii. Few interesting additions to the Cakes’ menu- Tongue Petal Sandwich, Steak Sandwich, Chilli Dogs and Double Decker Delight.
Talking to the Jiyo Bangla team about their upcoming film, director Meenakshii said, “The film has been shot in various locations in the suburbs of the city mainly and also partly in the city. The movie will release in the 1st week of September and surprise the audience with our brilliant concept or genre that is hardly attempted”. The film has been produced under the banner of Lucifer films. Apart from directing, the duo has also done the screenplay for their original story. The script has been written by Utsav Mukherjee.
