Imagine you are reading one of your favourite book and unexpectedly the characters emerge in front of you. Well, that brings about some thrill. But in reality this imagination of yours can only be true when a director decides to adapt a book into a film. Rajkumar Santoshi latest movie will be based on Asghar Wajahat‘s book “Jis Lahore Nai Dekhya , O Jamyai Nai’’.
Its based on a lifespan of a Punjabi woman who had a vast haveli in Lahore during partition. She refuses to leave her home despite the haveli being set aside to another family. During the course of time, she manages to live with the other family peacefully. In the end, as soon as she dies there is communal strain on how to move forward with her last rituals.
The story line seems quite attention-grabbing. Movies which are centred on the backdrop of India’s partition, grasps a lot of significance as we get to see how people’s life were affected through Partition .You ought to wait for the time till the movie gets its initial release date
