Sanju, which is a biopic of the popular actor Sanjay Dutt is a film where Ranbir Kapoor plays the role of Sanjay Dutt clashes with another historical biopic of the legendary hockey player Sandeep Singh. Diljit Dosanjh plays the role of Sandeep Singh in the film titled Soorma.
On one side we have the biopic of an actor who has lead a life which has seen the height of stardom to being behind bars in solitary confinement! Sanju is about all the ups and downs that actor Sanjay Dutt has faced in his life. On the other hand, Soorma is the story of Sandeep Singh who was a legendary hockey play but after a gunshot he was paralyzed and wheelchair-bound for two years but, in spite of that, he couched the Indian hockey team after 2 years and the team qualified for the Olympics 2012!
Both the biopics are extremely diverse and fascinating in their own way. The style of representation and the plot is different but the release date of these two movies will coincide.
Which one will the audience go for? Which one will the audience go for? Will it be Shaad Ali and Diljit Dosanjh's Soorma or will it be Rajkumar Hirani and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju? We will probably have to wait till 29th June to see who makes it big at the box-office!
